ILGF

ABOUT THE CLIENT

The Immigration Law Group of Florida is focused solely on immigration law. With a combined 15 years of experience, they represent clients before the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services, Immigration Court, the Board of Immigration Appeals, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Customs and Border Protection as well as various U.S. Embassies and Consulates.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

Kathlyn and Adriana had no existing logo; only a name and the use of red in their marketing. Their target audience mainly consisted of Spanish speaking families and children from a range of backgrounds and income levels. The new logo needed to show ILGF as trustworthy and knowledgeable to the community they serve. It needed to be professional, meaningful, strong, and powerful while also conveying a sense of caring and tenderness.

I took the inspiration of the new logo’s symbol from the dahlia, the national symbol of several Spanish speaking countries, which imparts meaningful blessings, enduring grace, and is a symbol of inner strength. Using negative space and shape to create a sense of inclusion and being safe, I combined clean lines and a bold red to produce a feminine yet powerful symbol, packed with meaning and message.

I had the privilege to work with ILGF on their business cards, letterhead, envelopes, standing banners, and facebook coverpage.
